Commerce student turned Distiller, Anand Virmani inadvertently kicked off the Gin revolution in India in 2017 when he launched the country’s first craft Gin distillery. Nao Spirits and Beverages came to life with a vision to create a brand and product he could be proud of and that the industry as a whole would be able to rally around. 

He has now spent 14 years in the alco-bev industry in India and has found a way to experience it from all perspectives – as a sales person, a marketer, a bar server, a distiller and finally an entrepreneur. Each of these experiences have shaped his approach to the market which has seen him create two successful brands in a highly competitive environment geared towards large format businesses with deep pockets.
