Aniruddha Mookerjee is a Mahua liquids expert who has been researching the cultural practices, economics and techniques of producing indigenous alcohols in India for over 20 years. As an Advisor, Heritage Liquor, to the Govt of Madhya Pradesh he has helped design MP’s Heritage Liquor policy; develop improved distillation techniques for Mahua spirits; and set up model distilleries for women’s SHGs which produce India’s first commercial tribal Mahua  brands, Mond and Mohulo. He is also an Advisor to Diageo and has been published in popular and academic journals and won awards for his films.
