I am the co- founder of Cocktails & Dreams, Speakeasy, a multi award winning, iconic cocktail bar, established in 2012. It is a bartenders bar specializing in customized cocktails, great bartenders and a beverage program that was much ahead of its time in India. With an active cultural calendar to back the beautiful bar, it is a complete package for the consumer looking for a night about in town. Speaks as we lovingly call it has won Best bar, Best Cocktails and Best Ambience for the last 6 years, by Times Nightlife Awards, as well as INCA., along with No3 ranking in the 30 Best Bars India, in 2019.
From there on I co founded our second bar Sidecar in 2018, which is an artisanal cocktail bar, meant to redefine the Indian cocktail industry With beautifully done décor, wood paneling and comfortable seating it aims to please. Beyond that the bar is focused on handmade ingredients, and hence all syrups, the tinctures, the grogs and the bitters are made in-house. Established in Dec 2018, Sidecar has already won the Best Bar awards in many forums, incluidng Times Nightlife 2018, 2019, and was awarded the No 1, bar by the 30 BEST BARS INDIA, along with Best Bar awards by Spiritz Magazine, Living Foodz Epicurean Guide,
It has recently been awarded the BEST BAR IN INDIA two years in a row,,in 2020, and 2021, and awarded No 14 , rank, with a NIKKA HIGHEST CLIMBER award in the coveted Asia’s 50 best bars list Sidecar is also No 47 in the World’s 50 BEST BARS, making it the first and only INIDAN bar to be in the World’s Best Bars list.
I am Also the Co-Founder of Drinks India Company, a consulting arm of ours, that extends our in depth expertise from product development, creation to Bar designs, and Trainings. We work extensively in the Alcobev space, as well as the non alco space.
I have recently co founded BHUMI a Farm to table concept that hero’s using local ingredients straight from the farm, and hosts tables on the weekends and private events and tastings. It is also a space to unwind, and its Pet and kid friendly. The focus is on Grills, barbecues, Chulha ( woodfire) cuisine
As one of the youngest Marketing team members at Pernod Ricard I undertook, International brands marketing at On trade, giving me a good understanding of trends, consumer insight, and operations. Under this role, I took care of setting up Marketing programs for Consumers, as well as the Customers.
Prior to Pernod Ricard, I took care of activations of the Brand Smirnoff and Captain Morgan, at Diageo. Under this role, I took up setting up and leading a team, with specific consumer marketing programs for the brands. This had various Brand activations, promotions, bar staff trainings, bar competitions, International media trips, PR, budget and brand handling.
Starting my beverage career at Tulleeho gave me a great perspective into the industry and also consumer understanding and behavior. At Tulleeho I was handling exclusive programs for various companies and brands, such as Smirnoff, Bacardi, Marie Brizard, Bord Bia, Sab Miller, as a Project Manager. There were specific programs designed to target an ongoing brand plan or to overcome a specific issue, such as brand loyalty or brand affinity.
I was also, a trainer for Smirnoff tastemaker session (bartending workshops), having done my Hotel Management for IHM, PUSA, New Delhi , and taken up a Bartending Course of six months with Cocktails and Dreams New Delhi.
