Founder & MD, Red Rhino Craft Brewery
Kishore Pallam Reddy (KPR), founder of a leading craft brewery, took an unconventional route to brewing greatness. A techie by training, KPR earned his degree in the U.S. and ascended to the C-suite at a renowned tech firm, climbing the corporate ladder with precision and innovation. But while his professional life revolved around algorithms and digital transformation, his true passion was quietly brewing — in the world of beer.
KPR’s love for beer was sparked during his college days, where, while his friends gravitated towards mainstream American beers, he found himself captivated by a crisp, clear Japanese lager. It wasn’t just a drink to him; it was a revelation — a taste experience that set a new benchmark. The lager’s fine bubbles and clean, flavorful profile ignited his curiosity, and from that moment on, KPR developed a deep appreciation for lagers and IPAs that would endure for years to come.
In 2005, KPR returned to India, bringing with him a wealth of experience from the global tech scene. By 2014, he launched his own tech company, yet he couldn’t shake the feeling that his true calling lay somewhere else. What began as a side hobby soon evolved into a full-fledged obsession — craft brewing. Inspired by Bangalore, known as India’s beer capital and the heart of the country’s thriving startup ecosystem, KPR set out to merge his tech precision with his growing love for beer, creating a brand that would honor both.
KPR’s brewing journey wasn’t simply about following a trend. It was a mission for perfection. To master the craft, he traveled extensively across the West Coast of the U.S., delving deep into the nuances of brewing. His exploration focused on the delicate science of beer-making.
With his relentless pursuit of knowledge and his eye for precision, KPR was able to create beers that reflect both his technological expertise and his deep passion for brewing. Today, his craft brewery is a testament to his journey — a journey from the world of tech to the world of hops and barley, where innovation, creativity, and a love for beer converge.
Through his brewery, KPR continues to push boundaries, creating beers that blend science, art, and a dedication to quality. His story is a true reflection of what happens when passion meets precision — and the results are, quite simply, exceptional.
